U/12 TeeBall
Unique in Sydney, Hills offered an U/12 TeeBall
competition last summer. It will continue in 2007/08.
The initiative is designed to support first-time
primary school players who don't want to leap headfirst into
baseball, and those players aged 10 and 11 who don't yet feel
ready to make the transition to ModBall.
The jury is still out on this concept:- although
those involved all praised the format, it wasn't as well
patronised as we would have hoped. Looking at the standard of
other conferences in this age-group, it's clear there should
really have been another two or three teams playing U/12
teeball. |
